09年六月底推出PS3、XBOX360家用淘寶網購物主機版本。其續作《BLAZBLUE CONTINUUM SHIFT》預計09年11月推出在大型街機上。
本作除了前作出場的人物之外，還追加了三名新角色。除了在前作的故事模式中僅出現于對話中的隸屬於統制機構諜報部的哈札
馬(HAZAMA)和就讀於統制機構士官學校的彌生 樁(TSUBAKI YAYOI)之外還追加了一個新角色Λ-11-(Lamda-No.11-)。。
