Jax do you know 3dsmax or maya? The right way to do it is in Maya or 3dsMAX to reskin the meshes. But I am very slow in 3dsMAX so it took me quite awhile to complete it.

So let me organize my steps, and I will write a better tutorial on how this is done. with your skill level, you probably can do much faster than me if you do it in maya or 3ds max.

i start using 3dsmax recently, studio chars which i have made are all restricted in the bones, so if there's way to reskin and it would be very helpful :)

我也覺得那骨骼做得超好。這邊第一次見到這種非人型骨骼的MOD。虽然不能联动有点可惜。不过作为可动机械道具还是很给力的，摄影模式的一个新思路呢。等以后机械化的地图和各种机械道具完善了。就可以做各种科幻场景了。
