It has been revealed by Bethesda Game Director Todd Howard that in Skyrim you will be able to contract the vampiric disease just like in previous Elder Scrolls titles and just like in said titles if not treated you will gain vampiric abilities and vulnerabilities such as sunlight will actually harm you and overall it will change how you play the game, with the ability to
& L, K' N6 a; N% j" C% \7 P! rfeed on people as they sleep, to control your vampiric self
# E/ b; F& l+ Y& s It isn’t just a model design it is a game changing element (described as a “whole other mode to playing the game” by Todd), it can however be treated and you will go on and play the game as normal, but miss out on the inevitable fun that being a vampire will be.7 l) Q1 H. There are yet to be any pictures or footage of a vampiric character, but if these do arise then be sure you can find them here. There is also no news yet whether the same will apply with werewolves or wereboars./ n0 i& n# U* i( X
